NAFI at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025

21 Jul 2025 - 27 Jul 2025

NAFI at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025

NAFI will have a robust presence in two places at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh this year. In addition to our usual location on the EAA grounds at Booth 354 (just east of Hangar B), NAFI will also be located the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center.

At the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center

This year, our entire program of Professional Development Center (PDC) presentations will be at the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center (PPC), which is next to the EAA Aviation Museum. Thirty-two presentations are planned on topics such as weather, pilot health and well-being, risk management, instrument flight, flight training, and tips and techniques. In addition, a regulatory update from the FAA will cover the Part 141 modernization effort. Two panels will feature topics such as using angle of attack indicators and the always-popular DPE panel.

Over the last eight years, NAFI’s PDC has become the premier flight training education venue at AirVenture. In 2024, about 1,700 people attended 32 PDC presentations. As NAFI marks 58 years of representing flight educators, we continue to bring opportunities and activities for members in addition to the outstanding presentation schedule.

Join us at the EAA PPC for the annual NAFI member breakfast on Thursday, July 24, at 8:00 a.m. It includes a continental breakfast from La Sure’s Bakery featuring breakfast sandwiches, pastries, fruit, coffee, and juice.

Following the breakfast, the annual association business update will include:

  • A guest speaker
  • The Flight Instructor Hall of Fame inductee
  • The Jack J. Eggspuehler Service Award
  • The Greg J. Laslo Excellence in Writing Award
  • More on the upcoming NAFI Summit

At NAFI Booth 354

NAFI will also be located at our previous location at Booth 354 (just east of Hangar B). In addition to membership activities and networking, NAFI will host a series of roundtable discussions here throughout the week. Attendees will have a chance to catch up with leaders and experts during a series of roundtable discussions. Among the leaders in residence will be pilot examiners, weather briefers, medical examiners, type club instructors, insurance experts, and many more.

Other reasons to come by our tent are:

  • Daily drawings for prizes
  • $5 discount on all new and renewing memberships
  • Mixing and mingling with your colleagues and friends
  • Morning coffee

We look forward to meeting and learning more about you at the world's home base of aviation — EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
