Why We Teach What We Teach

Everything we do learning to fly, we do for a reason—but it's not always the reason you might think. In this program we'll look at two Federal regulations and two training maneuvers and explore the real reasons they exist and are taught.

The goal is to develop insights that will make it easier to present these topics to your students and clients, and to reinforce the relevance of knowing these rules and maneuvers as they apply to everyday flight.

The topics we'll cover include:

  • VFR flight visibility and cloud clearance requirements
  • The Lazy 8 Commercial Pilot maneuver
  • Minimum safe altitudes
  • The VMC Demonstration for pilots of piston twins

Viewers will be able to type in their questions to be answered during the event. We'll explain how to do so at the beginning of the webinar. We'll leave plenty of time in the webinar to answer questions about these topics and other maneuvers and regulations.
