"Scenario-based Simulation Training for the Rest of Us" presented by William "Billy" Winburn, President, Community Aviation.
Commercial and military pilots have been using simulators as a method for scenario-based training for decades. And for good reason, it's proven that recurring simulation training can increase flight safety. But what about for us GA pilots?
While multi-million dollar Level-D simulators are out of reach for most of us there are many affordable simulation options for procedural work, skill building, and proficiency training available to us.
Billy will share the specific opportunities that general aviation pilots have to engage in scenario-based simulation training from advanced aviation training devices to personal computers.
William "Billy" Winburn is a native of Savannah, GA and a resident of Alexandria, VA. He is an instrument rated private pilot and president of Community Aviation.
If not in an airplane or at his desk, Billy can be found hunting throughout the Mid-Atlantic and South East areas of the US.
